Johor Darul Ta’zim ( JDT ) secured a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Sri Pahang FC in a Liga Super match at Stadium Sultan Ibrahim in Iskandar Puteri. The first half ended goalless as both teams failed to find the finishing touch. A defensive error from Sri Pahang FC's Adam Nor Azlin gifted JDT the lead in the 48th minute, with Bergson Da Silva doubling their advantage just four minutes later.

Sri Pahang pulled one back through David William Rowley's header from a Mykola Ahapov corner in the 53rd minute. JDT sealed the win with a penalty converted by Bergson in stoppage time after Arif Aiman Mohd Hanapi was fouled by Aleksandar Cvetkovic, setting the final score at 3-1. Meanwhile, at Stadium Majlis Perbandaran Manjung (MPM), Selangor outplayed Perak FC 2-1. Selangor took the lead in the 41st minute through Alvin Fortes before he added a second in the 71st minute. Perak FC managed a consolation goal through Wan Zack Haikal in the 88th minute, following a pass from Firdaus Saiyadi. The course is an initiative by the National Department of Culture and Arts (JKKN) Pahang to revive and promote the traditional drum, synonymous with accompanying silat Pahang movements, from extinction. This year, 77 students completed the course after fulfilling the requirement of attending a 24-hour course held over several weeks at designated locations, including SK (LKTP) Jengka 12, SMK Maran, and Dewan Orang Ramai Imam Perang Teh Kampung Sanggang, Temerloh. Participants were tested on their ability to play three popular drum rhythms: the sama deras song rhythm, the kambing belaga rhythm, and the raja berangkat rhythm, before receiving their certificates.
