PETALING JAYA: Super League champions Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) debut in the AFC Champions League have ended in the group stage after a 0-1 loss to China's Shandong Luneng in their Group E clash.

Graziano Pelle handed Shandong the winner after a close range shot in the 22nd minute to chalk-up their second win in the group at the Larkin Stadium, last night.

The host started off brightly but Pelle's goal from a counter-attacking move, left JDT deflated as they could not raise their game.
