THE Johor Baru disaster committee will meet tonight to discuss the dumping of chemical effluents in Sungai Kim Kim, near Pasir Gudang. Johor Health, Environment and Agriculture Committee chairman Dr Sahruddin Jamal, who will chair the meeting, said there was an increase in the number of people seeking treatment at Sultan Ismail Hospital due to the pollution allegedly caused by the dumping of chemical waste into the river.
