JOHOR BARU: A 28-year-old man was arrested for possessing illegal fireworks worth RM8,000 in his house in Taman Desa Jaya here.
Seri Alam OCPD Supt Mohd Sohaimi Ishak said a raid was conducted by the marine police at 5.10pm on Friday .He said the suspect did not have a criminal record and had been remanded for four days from April 1 to 4.Meanwhile, in an unrelated case, a 35-year-old man was arrested over a road bullying case in Pasir Gudang.
"The incident occurred at 2.15pm on Friday. A 34-year-old man driving in Pasir Gudang, was hit from behind by the suspect's vehicle at a traffic light junction. "Both drivers stopped and got out of their vehicles but the suspect took out a metal rod and threatened to beat the victim," he said.Investigations revealed that the suspect was unhappy with the way that the victim cut him off on the road.The suspect has been remanded until April 4 and the case is being investigated under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation and Section 427 of the Penal Code for committing mischief.
