Another night of music took over the streets of the city's downtown area Monday for Day 4 of this year's CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival.

Rochester , N.Y. — Another night of music took over the streets of downtown Rochester on Monday for Day 4 of this year's CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival .It was another beautiful day on Jazz Street, which included free events with talent from across our region and beyond.Tommy Smith, a renowned saxophonist, led Monday's workshop. He's been to the festival at least 15 times.
That encouraged Greg Newton, an audience member from Rochester, to voluntarily play alongside Smith to apply the new skills he learned. Right outside, more acts took the Jazz Street Stage, including drummer Parker Vineyard, this year's RIJF Eastman School of Music Jazz Scholarship recipient.
