Jaylen Nowell Leaning Towards Leaving Minnesota In Free Agency - RealGM Wiretap

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Jaylen Nowell's name has popped up some in trade rumors. However, some interested teams may choose to hold off on dealing for Nowell, as signs are the fourth-year guard plans to leave Minnesota as an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Nowell is eligible to a sign an extension worth as much as $58 million over four years. Thus far, Nowell and the Wolves haven't come to any sort of agreement. In 52 games off the Minnesota bench, Nowell has averaged a career-high 10.9 points in 19.7 minutes per game. However, Nowell's shooting has fallen off to 43.9% from the field, including 27.6% from behind the arc.
