For those seeking the pricey indulgence, Japanese ice cream brand Cellato recently earned a Guinness World Record title for the world’s most expensive ice cream at RM30,389.The Byakuya is a dessert made from special ingredients like edible gold leaf, sake lees, rare white truffle from Alba, Italy, and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.

The Cellato team hired RiVi fusion restaurant head chef Tadayoshi Yamada to fuse the finest European and Japanese ingredients together.
