TOKYO is likely to scrap events marking a year to go until the postponed 2020 Olympics, fearing a celebration would be inappropriate during the coronavirus pandemic, reported Japanese media today. The Games have been postponed to July 23 next year over Covid-19, and it remains unclear whether even that delay is sufficient.
