Surat tuntutan kepada Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri Merlimau itu disahkan peguam Teresa, Sankara Nair & Partners.

“Jika pelanggan kami tidak menerima sebarang maklum balas yang memuaskan daripada anda dalam tempoh tujuh waktu bekerja dari tarikh penerimaan notis ini, kami memulakan tindakan undang-undang tanpa merujuk lagi kepada anda,” menurut notis itu.
