KUALA LUMPUR: Mohd Hussein Mohd Nasir, better known as “Datuk Roy”, has been remanded for three days beginning Tuesday (March 14) until Thursday (March 16) to assist investigations into the Jana Wibawa programme.
The remand order against the 54-year-old was issued by Magistrate Noorelynna Hanim Abd Halim to facilitate investigations under Section 17 of the MACC Act 2009.
Clad in the orange MACC lockup garment, Mohd Hussein arrived at roughly 10am, and was escorted by two MACC officers. The anti-graft body had earlier issued a statement naming Mohd Hussein as a person of interest in its investigation towards the programme.On March 9, the MACC arrested four persons aged between 40 and 50 years old, including an MACC officer and a woman.
