Thomas allegedly exchanged emails about the the 2020 election with John Eastman, Trump's former lawyer. Throughout Thursday'shearing, the committee presented evidence showing Eastman devised a plan to have Pence reject a slate of electors while presiding as President of the Senate on Jan. 6, 2021 to give Trump the win.with Thomas or her husband, and said Thomas had only asked him for an update on recent litigation.
