It's do or die for both sides on Saturday evening as they meet in their final World Cup group stage game.
Jamie Ritchie said Scotland will “fire every bullet in our gun” in this Saturday’s Paris showdown with Ireland as they bid to stay in the World Cup.
“I don’t see it as the pressure being off, but I do see it as us not having anything to lose in this game,” he said. “If we lose the game, we’re going home. When it was put to Ritchie that Scotland – ranked fifth in the world – do have their place at the World Cup to lose, he responded: “Yeah, we’ve got a game to lose as well.
“But I fully believe in this group of men in our group and I know that if we put in our best performance then we are in with a shot.”
