Just one point separates Manchester City and Liverpool following their Anfield stalemate with Arsenal leading the Premier League table and Jamie Carragher has now shared his thoughts on the potential destination of the title
Jamie Carragher believes the race for the Premier League title could go the distance after Liverpool and Manchester City couldn't be separated at Anfield.
The draw leaves Arsenal top of the table, level on points with Liverpool while City are just a point behind. Carragher believes that the narrow margins between the three sides could see the title race go right to the final day. “Then if you’re Liverpool and you’re watching Arsenal play Man City in a few weeks time, you’re thinking the same thing so I think from their points of view, they’re still trying to chase down City. They’re still the team to beat.
None of Liverpool, Arsenal or Man City are in league action next weekend due to FA Cup fixtures. The international break then sees domestic action paused ahead of a key showdown between Arsenal and Man City at the Etihad.
