Five-club race ends as Dees free agent makes crucial call on AFL future

Melbourne James Jordon has made his free agency call, nominating Sydney as his preferred footy destination for the 2024 AFL season. Jordon last week reportedly told the Demons he wanted to exercise his free agency rights after 65 games across five seasons. Sydney, Essendon, St Kilda, Carlton and the Western Bulldogs had all been linked to Jordon throughout the year.
