Jake Sim of the popular K-pop group ENHYPEN made the Filipino Engenes gush as he vibed to “YK,” a viral
During his livestream a couple of days ago, he played the song while he recommended it to his thousands of live viewers.
“It’s a Filipino song. It’s such a good song. I am happy that I’m able to play this song for those who didn’t know,” he said. “This song is called ‘YK’ by Cean Jr.”“YK” and Cean Jr. have been making waves across social media and digital music streaming platforms as the track goes viral.On Spotify alone, where Cean Jr. has about 2.7 million monthly listeners as of this writing, the track garners an average of 300,000 streams per day. In total, it already has 35 million streams.
Apart from music platform’s Viral Hit charts, “YK,” which stands for “you know,” has also been featured on Spotify’s Tatak Pinoy Playlist, which banners Cean Jr., and on Hot Hits Philippines. The Filo Engenes first describes the song as ‘national anthem of the delulus ’ as they associate it with another ENHYPEN member Heeseung.Tags:
