The Jaguars' offense excelled with the leadership of Doug Pederson and the guidance of quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
That goal was realized as the team made a late push toward the postseason, winning their final six games, including a victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs.
That marked the third-highest jump by any team in the league this year. The two highest jumps were the New York Giants and the Detroit Lions .No player on offense made a greater impact than Lawrence, who entered his second season with plenty of doubt cast throughout his rookie year.59.6 percent completion percentage, 3,641 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, 17 interceptions, 71.9 quarterback rating, 33.5 QBR.66.
According to Pro Football Focus, Taylor finished as the team's highest-graded pass blocker, allowing just five sacks and 21 total pressures in 19 games played.A couple of games stand out for the Jaguars' turnaround this season, at least offensively, but none more so than the team's 36-22 victory over the Tennessee Titans in Week 14.
The game also marked the second-best passing performance from Lawrence by quarterback rating at 121.9, who completed 30-of-42 passes for 368 yards , three touchdowns and a completion percentage of 71.43 percent. On the next play, with the score still in the Ravens' favor at 27-26, the Jaguars went for two with 14 seconds remaining. Lawrence completed an out route to Zay Jones to win 28-27.The Jaguars excelled at many areas on offense this year, but they did not make enough improvement in red-zone scoring, ranking 17th after scoring a touchdown on 55.38 percent of their trips.
