The group’s leader, Yeji, even expressed her glee about the Philippines as the first stop of their Asia tour, hoping that they would be able to spend more time with their beloved fans.
“It’s been two years since we’ve been in the Philippines. The Philippine [MIDZY] was so passionate like today,” Ryujin said. “We really had a great memory. Thank you for coming here too!” In fact, one of the fondest memories during their first Philippine event that Ryujin described as heartwarming was when their Filipino fans sang a birthday song for Yuna’s birthday that made the singer cry.
“For the past years, we have received so much love not only from the Philippines but also globally and we are so thankful for that,” Lia said. When asked which place from the Philippines they would love to visit, on behalf of the group, Chaeryeong answered Boracay.She also mentioned that they are craving for a taste of halo-halo!ITZY will be performing in Manila for their two-night concert on January 14 and 15 at the Mall of Asia Arena as part of their first world tour. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
