Langkawi’s MP, Suhaimi Abdullah recently “invited” Teresa Kok to Langkawi beach naked in response to the latter’s question about wearing shorts in Langkawi.
His response caused an uproar in the Parliament, and Malaysians were not happy to hear such a lewd invitation coming from a politician. Suhaimi, however, defended his remark and said that he was responding in a joking manner.Suhaimi said that he has known Teresa for quite some time and both of them have maintained a good friendship, hence the “joke.” The Langkawi MP also said that Teresa was asking the question in a provocative manner.
