KUALA LUMPUR: A Perikatan Nasional MP asked if the Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister had his own “way” of promoting Malaysian tourism by promoting the culture of “intoxication and dancing publicly”.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN : Cardiovascular disease remains a leading cause of death worldwide, and Brunei is no exception. Brunei recorded 669 cardiovascular deaths last year compared to 416 cases in 2021, making cardiovascular disease the second major cause of death in the Sultanate, said Cardiac Society Brunei Darussalam President Pengiran Dr Md Nadzir Pengiran Mohd Juanda.

“It is through conferences and meetings such as this that we can update ourselves with the latest development in cardiology with regards to prevention and treatment of cardiac-related conditions and reduce mortality and to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community,” he added.

The event also featured a panel of local and international speakers sharing their expertise on topics related to cardiovascular disease.
