Queensland Police Service has confirmed three members will have to undergo 'remedial strategies'.
Three Queensland police officers who joked about "beating and burying" black people in audio secretly recorded at Brisbane watch house will keep their jobs.In the leaked audio, police and staff at the Brisbane watch house can also be heard worrying Australia would be "taken over" by a particular ethnic group.
At the time Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the comments were "horrific" and Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll said those views "should not be in the organisation".Queensland Police Service has confirmed three members will have to undergo "remedial strategies". The CEO of incarcerated women's advocacy group Sisters Inside Debbie Kilroy said the outcome confirmed fears Aboriginal women have about police.
