: Projek pembinaan enam telaga tiub di Universiti Malaysia Sabah telah siap sepenuhnya dan akan berfungsi sebagai alternatif bagi mengatasi isu gangguan bekalan air di universiti itu.

Beliau tidak menafikan projek itu mengalami sedikit kelewatan untuk disiapkan berikutan terdapat beberapa perubahan terutama dalam aspek reka bentuk. Mustapha yang juga Ahli Parlimen Sepanggar berkata kesemua telaga tiub itu mampu menghasilkan sehingga sejuta liter air sehari. “Tetapi, kita berusaha memastikan bekalan air mencukupi kerana kita tidak mahu para pelajar terganggu terutama pada waktu peperiksaan,” katanya sambil menambah pihaknya sentiasa berinteraksi dengan JANS dalam usaha mengatasi isu berkenaan.
