The strike against a house in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza killed five and injured 20 more. Medical teams warned that the death toll is expected to rise as many victims remain trapped under the rubble.
In a separate incident, five journalists were killed when their vehicle was hit by an airstrike near the Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat, central Gaza. The journalists worked for the Al-Quds Al-Youm television channel, according to Gaza health authorities. Palestinian media and local journalists reported that the vehicle was clearly marked as a media van and was used to report news from inside the hospital and Nuseirat camp. So far, there has been no official statement from Israeli authorities regarding the attacks.
