Jordan's King Abdullah warns that any unilateral Israeli moves to annex territory in the occupied West Bank would dim hopes of a final settlement of the decades-old Arab-Israeli conflict
King Abdullah, a staunch US ally, has also in recent months warned that Israeli policies would lead to conflict and deal a blow to Israeli-Jordanian ties.
The monarch told British lawmakers the only path to a comprehensive and lasting Middle East peace was the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on land captured by Israel in the 1967 war, and with East Jerusalem as its capital.
