Israeli forces have passed the outskirts of Gaza City in their advancement in the strip, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, while the country faces attacks from Hezbollah on Israeli posts near the shared northern border.

"We're at the height of the battle. We've had impressive successes and have passed the outskirts of Gaza City.
