TEL AVIV: Jurucakap Tentera Israel, Daniel Hagari akhirnya mengakui adalah mustahil untuk memusnahkan Hamas sepanjang bertempur di Semenanjung Gaza, lapor The Palestine Chronicle.
Ia juga bercanggah dengan matlamat Perdana Menteri Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu yang mahukan ‘kemenangan total’ di Gaza. Ketegangan semakin meningkat sejak 7 Oktober, tahun lalu, dengan tentera Israel semakin kecewa dengan kekurangan rancangan politik pasca perang. Kini, tentera Israel berasa lebih yakin untuk menyuarakan rasa ketidakpuasan hati mereka secara terbuka.
