KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) is hopeful that Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s appointment as the new Prime Minister will put a stop to the political turmoil in this country.
PBRS deputy president Datuk Arthur Kurup said Ismail Sabri’s appointment is the right move to stabilise the government.
“We are confident of his capability to steer the nation forward based on his vast experience in the government,” he said. He urged all incoming ministers to focus on fighting the pandemic, economic recovery efforts and to help the rakyat in these challenging times. Kurup also urged political parties to work as one and put their differences aside for the sake of the rakyat and to prioritise solving current issues.
