PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has paid tribute to his wife Datin Seri Muhaini Zainal Abidin for always being by his side through thick and thin, from when he had nothing to today, where he holds the country's top job.
Ismail Sabri said that they got to know each other when he was 19 years old before tying the knot in 1986, the same year he joined politics at age 26.
"Nani is a very simple person and always doesn't want to be under the spotlight, that's why she is rarely seen."Hard times and good times, we are together," Ismail Sabri, who is also Umno vice-president, said in a Facebook post on Sunday . He also posted a photo of Muhaini looking resplendent in a lavender outfit while fixing the collar button on Ismail Sabri's black Baju Melayu before he was sworn in as Prime Minister by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on Saturday .They are Datin Nina, who is married to fashion designer Datuk Jovian Mandagie; Gaddafi, who is also a celebrity, Iqbal and Nashriq.
