HMD has launched a feature phone that is anything but basic. The Barbie Phone comes with multiple customizable back covers, a beaded lanyard, phone charms, and even stick-on crystals and themed stickers. It boasts a custom user interface with Barbie app icons and wallpapers, along with easter eggs, a Malibu Snake game, and more.
In a world full of smartphones, is there still a place for a feature phone ? If you ask HMD , the answer would be a resounding yes and the company is even asking consumers out there to “Aside from spotting Barbie ’s signature colourway and a mirror on its front area, there’s also a massive Barbie logo on its back cover. If that’s too much for you, you can swap it out with any of the two additional back covers that come with the phone.
Not only that, HMD has also included a beaded lanyard and phone charms with the device. Barbie Phone owners can further customise their device with stick-on crystals and Barbie-themed stickers. All of these are nicely packed into a Barbie x HMD jewellery box but the party didn’t end there though.The new Barbie Phone even features a custom user interface that has Barbie app icons and wallpapers.
