Michael Cohen, by contrast, has a New York brashness about him, which served him well in the decade he served as Donald Trump’s private attorney and self-described fixer, doing in that role whatever needed doing, legal or otherwise. Cohen never served in the White House. Tough and pugnacious, Cohen thrived in his role as Donald Trump’s protector, once saying he would take a bullet for the man.
