In a Marvel Universe overrun by zombies, Iron Man becomes the newest avatar for Anubis and wreaks absolute havoc as an undead spreader of the virus.

Fans of Marvel's mysterious masked avatar of the Egyptian god Khonshu know that Moon Knight's not the only person serving the gods.
In the Marvel Zombies: Black, White & Blood #1 story "Deliverance" by Ashley Allen and Justin Mason, Moon Knight is shown trying his best to contain the zombie outbreak afflicting the world before it can spread any further. However, he's met with the ultimate challenge when Anubis arrives and announces that he sees the zombie virus as the key to him reigning over Earth because no one is able to reach the afterlife.
It's a shocking betrayal, but given how chaotic the apocalypse is in the Marvel Zombies universe, it's pretty expected that some former heroes would turn on others.What makes Iron Man stand out as the best choice for Anubis to turn into his avatar is that his suit allows him to spread transmission of the virus faster and without much resistance. His jet propulsion systems give him the ability to traverse large cities quickly and ensure that no one can easily stop him from coming.
Anubis Makes Iron Man Even Stronger as His Avatar What's even scarier about Iron Man's new role as an avatar is that he's become much stronger under Anubis' will. He easily destroys Moon Knight in combat on the rooftop, and the way he rips and tears through his victims is unlike anything fans have seen from him before whenever Iron Man has been endowed with extreme super-strength.
Though Iron Man's time as an avatar for a god is short-lived, it is still a fairly scary glimpse into what would happen if a hero teamed up with Anubis. The absolute destruction he ends up causing is unprecedented and makes the zombie outbreak even worse. There is no stopping it to begin with, but he shaves precious time from research on a cure being developed as he wipes out more and more humans.
