Sophie Healy passed away on September 8th.
The Irish boxing community is in mourning following the sad death of young up-and-comer Sophie Healy.
"SOPHIE, Fairfield Crescent, Farranree and late of Fr. Horgan’s and Golden Gloves Boxing Clubs, treasured and adored daughter of Alan and Melissa and loving sister and best friend of Nathan and Lauren and loving granddaughter of the late Mag. Commenting on her passing, the Golden Gloves Boxing Club posted the following on social media: "It’s with a heavy heart we post this of the untimely passing of a former member Sophie Healy.
