Iran will decide if oil bulls outdo gold bugs swahapattanaik
Oil and gold prices have risen since Jan. 3, when a U.S. drone attack killed Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani.
The price of a barrel of Brent crude rose to $70.74 on Jan. 6, its highest since Sept. 16 and up 6.8% from its Jan. 2 close. It was trading at $68.59 on Jan. 7. The price of an ounce of gold rose to $1,582.59 on Jan. 6. That was its highest in nearly seven years and up 3.7% from the close on Jan. 2. The yellow metal was trading at $1,565.42 on Jan. 7.
