Industri minyak Arab Saudi, termasuk kemudahan pemprosesan petroleum terbesar di dunia, dijangka meningkatkan harga minyak antara AS$3 hingga AS$5 setong di Timur Tengah pada Isnin.
“Semua orang perlu tahu pangkalan Amerika dan pengangkut pesawat mereka berada dalam sekitar 2,000 kilometer dari Iran, dalam lingkungan rangkaian peluru berpandu kami,” kata agensi berita separa rasmi Tasnim, yang memetik komander Amirali Hajizadeh sebagai berkata. Riyadh dituduh bertembung dengan Iran dan proksinya dalam serangan terdahulu ke stesen pam minyak dan pusat minyak Shaybah, menafikan Teheran terlibat.
Turki, sekutu Iran, menyeru supaya diambil “langkah-langkah provokatif” bagi memelihara kestabilan serantau.
