JAKARTA: Simmering tensions between Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) chairwoman Megawati Soekarnoputri and Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo appeared to have reached a new height, with her loyalists accusing him of seeking to divide and take over the party.
IPOH: The persistent roof leakage issue at the Ipoh Railway Station during the rainy season is expected to be resolved by February 2025 , says Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin.
Additionally, RAC is conducting waterproofing works on the station’s flat roof, scheduled for completion by January 2025. He added that inspections revealed excessive rainwater from the roof platform and a damaged waterproofing layer on the station's flat roof were the main causes of the leaks. When asked about the number of complaints received, Nizar said this would need to be checked with Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad . However, he noted that RAC has also received complaints from the Tourism Ministry.
