Are you excited for the iPhone 15 series? 🤔 AppleiPhone15series TechNave
Apple is expected to increase the price of the iPhone 15 series that’s launching this September but it won’t curtail its sales figure. This is according to famous Wall Street analyst Dan Ives during a spot on CNBC News.
Ives elaborated that the price hike is due to the increased Average Selling Prices in the current smartphone market. Hence, Apple may be looking to adjust their prices to be consistent with other manufacturers, especially in the high-end segment. The increased price, allegedly up to a USD200 or ~RM923 increase for the iPhone 15 Pro models by other analysts, won’t affect the smartphone series’ sales though according to Ives. This is because this year would be a potential market opportunity for Apple as most of its customers are looking at their old smartphones this year.
Accordingly, Ives predicts Apple to ship between 235 million and 240 million units of the iPhone 15 series this year. Well, let’s not get too ahead of ourselves and wait until the series is released by Apple first this September. So, what are your expectations for the iPhone 15 series?
