Longtime Iowa women's basketball coach Lisa Bluder has retired after going 65-12 the past two seasons with Caitlin Clark leading the way.

Voepel began covering women's basketball in 1984, and has been with ESPN since 1996.women's basketball coach Lisa Bluder announced Monday that she is retiring after 24 years guiding the Hawkeyes and 40 seasons in coaching overall, including national championship game appearances the last two seasons. Bluder, 63, is the winningest women's basketball coach in Big Ten history.
An Iowa native who played at Northern Iowa, Bluder finished with an overall career record of 884-396. She had stops at St. Ambrose and Drake before taking over at Iowa in 2000.
