Investigators seek help from the public for information on a 2021 fatal shooting in Emerald Hills [Breaking]
It has been two years since a 38-year-old San Diego resident was fatally shot in Emerald Hills Park, and police are asking for help from the public to help solve the case.
San Diego County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the July 26, 2021 shooting death of Luis Alberto Arroyo, investigators said in a news release Wednesday. Arroyo was gunned down around 2 a.m. in the parking lot of the park on Bethune Court near Kelton Road, according to San Diego police.Officers found Arroyo, who worked as a custodian at Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital in Kearny Mesa, with a gunshot wound to his upper body, police said.Investigators are still trying to determine what led to the shooting and are looking for witnesses, Crime Stoppers said this week.
San Diego police asked that anyone with information about the case call the homicide unit at 531-2293 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 580-8477.
