A detective at the scene told ABC13 that someone saw a body on the ground and called the police. Investigators haven't released a possible motive or suspect description.
An investigation is underway after a man was found dead after an apparent shooting in the Museum Park area of Houston.
South Central officers received a call at about 4:57 p.m. Monday of reports of a shooting in the 4400 block of Caroline Street. A detective at the scene told Eyewitness News that they could not find any witnesses, but someone driving down the street reportedly noticed the body on the ground and called law enforcement.
Investigators said they have som of the victim's belongings and hope it will lead to identifying him and determining why he was in the area.For updates on this story, follow Briana Conner on
