PETALING JAYA: An immediate investigation has been ordered into a viral incident involving a runaway lorry ploughing through several vehicles along the congested Johor Baru-Woodlands Causeway.

Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, who made the order, said that he viewed such cases seriously and would not compromise with any party.

The individual who was recording the incident could be heard speaking in Hokkien expressing shock, saying that the driver did not seem to have slowed the vehicle down before hitting several others. He said the Road Transport Department has been ordered to investigate the matter including asking the police to run a urine test on the driver.
