ACT police were called to a residence in Canberra's north in September last year, where a woman was badly injured. Now, her partner has been charged with her murder.
A 37-year-old man has been charged with the murder of his partner who died in September last year, after succumbing to a "number of injuries".
ACT police were called to a residence in Reid in Canberra's north on September 9 last year, where a woman was badly injured. Despite paramedics' efforts at the scene, the woman was pronounced dead shortly after police arrived. Police said an investigation was initially unable to identify the woman's cause of death, but information later indicated she had died from blunt-force trauma.
The man, who police allege was in a relationship with the woman at the time, is set to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today.
