Investigate AirAsia kickback, watchdog tells Securities Commission

TRANSPARENCY International Malaysia has called on the Securities Commission to conduct an independent investigation into the AirAsia and AirAsia X kickback scandal with Airbus, and make public the findings. “This news is disturbing because it is a home grown brand and the government is doing its best for Malaysia to be known for its integrity and not corruption,” TI-M said, while expressing concern over the issue that came to light through United Kingdom court documents.
