Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook speaks during the launch of the Monorail four-car train at the Bukit Nanas Monorail station today. — BernamaThe proposal to introduce the two-wheel e-hailing service by Indonesian company Go-Jek in Malaysia will be deliberated in the Cabinet.

Loke then explained that upon agreement by the Cabinet, his ministry would conduct a feasibility study.“We have not made a final decision on whether to allow or not,” he told reporters at the launch of the Monorail four-car train at the Bukit Nanas Monorail station today. Loke added that Syed Saddiq would raise the matter in Cabinet from the perspective of youth employment, whereas his ministry would be deliberating the matter from the safety and public transportation point of view.

The Youth and Sports Minister said this was an effort to help the motorcyclists, as it was not enough for the government to organise a one-off programme or to build race tracks.
