Police early Thursday have closed Interstate 10 heading into Houston while detectives investigate a fatal auto-pedestrian crash on the east side of town.
Video shows family in fear of man moments before police shooting
Officers around 3:45 a.m. responded to a report of a crash on the main lanes after someone reported a person had been hit by several vehicles, Metro Video Services reported. The person died at the scene. Witnesses told detectives the pedestrian tried walking across the freeway and was struck by multiple vehicles, officials said.
