Niamh O’Donoghue is a writer, podcast host and social media star who has fought her fair share of battles.
In a matter of hours, Niamh’s spine went from a curvature of 20 degrees to 86 degrees, and Niamh says of the time that she felt like she was taken out of her own body and put into someone else’s. Niamh has shared how much running and exercise has helped her both physically and mentally throughout her bouts of illness.
Niamh’s resilience and optimism in the face of adversity has proved to pay off, as she fought cancer and survived. She wrote on the fundraising page, JustGiving, “I’m really honoured to be running the 2023 Dublin Marathon in honour of the Irish Cancer Society, who played a big part of my twenties.
