Azhar, a 36-year-old father of three, expressed gratitude for his early release from a 10-month prison sentence through the Parole Program (PBSL). He pledged to embark on a new life and avoid drugs, which led to his incarceration. Azhar, who admitted to repeating drug-related offenses, emphasized his determination to change for his family and his newfound commitment to staying away from drugs. The event, held at the Mantin Rehabilitation Center (PRP), also saw 41 other inmates from the Negeri Sembilan Prison selected for the program.

“Ini adalah kesalahan ketiga saya berkaitan dadah dan kali ini saya tekad untuk berubah demi keluarga, dengan peluang diberikan ini menambahkan lagi keazaman saya untuk terus berubah,” katanya ketika ditemui pada Majlis Pelepasan Banduan Secara Lesen Ihsan Madani sempena Perayaan Krismas Tahun 2024 di Pusat Reintegrasi Penghuni Mantin, di sini, hari ini.
