Infinix has announced the official launch of its latest entry-level smartphone, the Note 40X. It is the sixth model in the Note 40 series to be available in
Malaysia as well as being the most affordable member to date. It gets a more powerful chipset than the vanilla variant but is the only one from the lineup that uses an LCD panel for the screen instead of AMOLED.
The Note 40X can be purchased starting today with a price tag of RM849, shipping with a total of three colour options through the brand's Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop pages as well as authorised retailers. It was previously listed on its Shopee store at RM869, but a representative told us that that was an error and it has since been corrected.Regarding the specs, the 40X sports a 6.78-inch 1080p IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 500 nits.
For imaging, the device features a 108MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens, a depth sensor, and an 8MP front sensor. Powering the smartphone is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging. On the connectivity side, the budget phone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 5, NFC, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
