Infinix Note 40 5G Hits The Shelves With RM1,299 Price Tag

Infinix has introduced a fifth variant of its Note 40 series, with the Note 40 5G being the third model up for sale in the Malaysian market. Oddly enough, it

is pricier than the Note 40 Pro 5G even without the Pro moniker, but that may be attributed to the larger storage capacity.

The Note 40 5G gets the same 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. Under the chassis, the phone sports a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and a whopping 512GB of expandable storage — this is the only configuration being offered.

On the imaging front, it features a 108MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a depth sensor, while the punch-hole cutout on the screen houses a 32MP selfie snapper. Powering the entry-level device is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired and 15W wireless MagCharge charging. Of all the phones in the series, this model seems to have the slowest charging speeds.
