JAKARTA, : Muslims in Indonesia will celebrate Eid on Monday, Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar announced on Saturday night. At a press conference held at the ministry, he confirmed that 1 Syawal 1446 Hijri will fall on March 31, 2025. The announcement followed the conclusion of the Isbat conference , which involved ministry officials, the Indonesian Ulema Council, astronomers, and members of the Indonesian House of Representatives, as well as representatives from embassies in Indonesia."Tonight, Tarawih prayers will still be performed across Indonesia. We hope that as a result of this meeting, all Muslims in Indonesia can joyfully celebrate Eid," he said.
