KOTA KINABALU: A total of 107 Indonesians who committed various immigration offences have been deported.
They comprised 96 males and 11 females who had been detained at Immigration Department depots in the Sandakan and Tawau districts.
She said the detainees, aged between 14 and 63, were sent home on the ferry Mid East Express No 1, which departed from Tawau for Nunukan port in Indonesia. Sitti Saleha reminded foreigners that they must have valid travel documents and work permits to work in Sabah, adding that firm action will be taken against them otherwise.
