Recently, netizens have been abuzz about a certain lookalike of the Petronas Twin Towers found in Aceh, Indonesia. While Malaysians are certain it’s a flattering replica of our own towers here, Indonesians reportedly alleged that it was inspired by something else instead!Just last week, on 6th May, Facebook group ASEAN Skyline took to their socials to share some interesting facts about the supposed replica in Indonesia.
The twin tower is without a doubt so spectacular that its replica has been built in a whole other country,Photos uploaded showed that while the towers aren’t as tall as the ones in Malaysia, they do have an uncanny resemblance to the twin towers here. Surprisingly enough, ASEAN Skyline added that some Indonesians denied that the replica was inspired by the Petronas Twin Towers. “Funnily enough, most Malaysians insisted that the replica is a ““.
